This is part one of our review of the new Sub 70 TA III wedges Kyle bought. (Apologies for the video length) Testing/reviewing was done with 52°, 56°, and 60° wedges with various shots from full swings, chip shots, pitch shots, out of the bunker, and out of the rough. Kyle even compared the ball spin with each new wedge against his old Taylormade MG3 wedges. This review should have been done much sooner, as Shell Landing is one of our favorite golf courses. A golf course worth the 90-minute drive from New Orleans that we should visit at least 3x a year. This review was probably the best video we have done yet, with the best greens we have played all year. After a delay due to poor internet while out of state, we finally were able to upload our golf course review video from our day at Belle Terre Country Club, Nov. 4th, 2025. One of only two Pete Dye-designed golf courses in all of Louisiana. We like the improvements on the course, but are confused about how ownership is operating the club, which makes it appear they do not want golfers.
