What is the New Orleans Cup?
A new premier golf tournament for the New Orleans area.
Although we are still working out details and sponsors we are hoping to make this event spectacular with the possibility of spectators. Additionally, we hope to have both men's and women's, divisions.
Our main goal is to create a fun yet competitive golf event that will become an annual must play.
Based on a goal of 100 participating teams this is what is planned so far:
1. 2-person scramble format. (USGA Rules)
2. 5-qualifiers at 5 different golf courses in the New Orleans area. (TBD)
3. Top 4 teams at each qualifier advance to The New Orleans Cup for top prizes.
4. Tee gifts for every player entered.
5. Hole-in-one prizes at each qualifier and the main event on every par-3.
6. Trophies and prizes for the winning team(s).
7. Awards banquet and dinner for all entrants the evening following the New Orleans Cup main event. (Location TBD)

1st place - Trophy and $500 TaylorMade Gift Card.
2nd Place - Trophy and Full Bag Club Fitting at Club Champion. ($350 value)
3rd Place- Trophy and World Wide Golf Shops $200 gift card.

One guaranteed Closest-to-the-hole prize winner at each qualifier wins a Free Round of golf at a local course (TBD) and an Amazon Gift Card. Closest to the hole prize for the final event we hope to give the winner something special such as Club tickets to the following years Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
